1: Increase skill gain... i know you said you already had but its still pretty bad it should not be so slow from 0-75 like it is now. it took me four days to get to 80+ on warrior combat skill mace aswell as fishing and cooking still isnt there aswell as animal lore and anatomy and eval intel.
2: add bolts of cloth to tailors not just spools
3: correct the gumps they are still listing zbhv on some of them
4: put more info on this forum since there is no website like version and core and all the server specifics aswell as staff members and where server is located. make it more professional like.
5: put the server on the top sites and search engines and promote on polserver.com
6: find a developer to fix all the issues not just someone who can do minor things because when you own a server u best be ready because something can and will break.
I know button is gonna come on here and bitch about skill gain so stfu...

1. i think skill gain is fine. you are the only one who has a problem and talks about it. (so far)
2. will do
3. having a hard time finding someone who can do that. do you know anyone?
4 & 5. i am the only person working on things so some may take a while. we are on facebook, twitter and once i get the email confirmation we will be on uo gateway also. still have to do uo top 100 and 200
6. what issues?

skill gain was an issue on zhv. from what ive heard its slightly better here than it was on there. and the skill gain was fixed there. my biggest issue with skill was being handed 4x 100 skills. that is just silly. with the other 2 at 50 and other 2 at 33 you were 566 to start a char. im glad its a work for your skills shard. i already have a speced mage in less than a week. skill gain isnt an issue. maybe you should learn to macro effectively
i do agree with the price of spools. its too high. shouldnt be 2500 bucks for 500 cloth( 50 spools = 500 cloth)

ill just leave the spools alone and add in bolts of cloth, what do you think is a good price for them?

ill have to look into it. should be profitable or atleast breakeven for raising tailoring.... i think 50 spools = 10 bolts so currently its 250 for a bolt. maybe 100 would be good?

100 sounds good, make it profitable for tailors as a profession

yes skill gain needs to be raised some. for a game that dies off and comes back as much as this one does..should probably make it a little less of a headache for the people who do like to go out and do things besides spends months of macroing.

not many ppl want to invest the time in macroining anymore after all these years they are tired of macroing for weeks and then server shuts down... and ya i know your gonna say this place is different but we have heard tht for years aswell and it always comes to the same conclusion uim not saying make it a war server but a good skill gain would be nice as u can see its not only me complaining now. and as for ur spec 1 mage not sure how u got it done that quick but congrats. war used to take maybe a day for spec 1 and im still not spec 1 after 5 and i train 4 or 5 skills at a time i know how to train wars very real ive been playing them for many years...

well i got parry to 80 in less than a day. skills will go faster as you gain stats too. and remember if youre using bs hammera its slow AF. use clubs or maces and butcher knives, and ofc daggers.

honesty, i came to uo on zulu hotel canada and skill gain was not fast at all. i macroed my warrior for months. it was faster on zh5 when dean closed the pol server and switch everything to runuo, but that is runuo not pol. it is way faster on runuo because runuo doesn't have the class system and should be slow on pol due to the same fact, over powered chars very quickly will be the outcome. that and paired with higher loot and in 2 weeks everyone is running around in full gm armor and dev weaps and 100% prots. seriously, how fun is that? because than everyone will just be pking each other and no one will be hunting, tmaps, sos etc.
however, i will go over skill gain tonight (which is already higher than it was) and raise all skills to some degree. but i will only do this once. i don't have the time to tweak the skill gains 3783659764983726 times nor do i care to. i'm not being a dick but so much more needs to be done with this server that skill gain should not even be an issue right now. button and i have had no problems raising skill, maybe everyone should look into how they macro like he said.

personally I think writing efficient macro scripts is at least 50% of the fun/challenge on UO, but saying that doesnt mean I prefer slow skillgains. For comparisons sake, here is what I have experienced so far; sparring: 3-4 days sparring with a blacksmith hammer has put me at ~100 STR and 90% mace fighting passive skill: 3-4 days of evaluating intelligence and tracking has put me at ~105% in each I will post how long active skills, such as Magery, take me to raise when I acquire enough gold pieces

The skills are definitely alot slower then usual. 3-4 days from 33 mining to 83. I mean honestly? While i do enjoy the process of macroing, this is too slow for my taste. Before you say anything about my macro not being the best it can be, trust me it is. I'm using easyuo that empty one tile and moves on to another, even uses arms lore inbetween the loops.
I spent 4-5 hours lumberjacking and gained from 50-53. Something is seriously wrong with the skill gain.
Sure you can say that it took you months to raise a warrior on zhc, but that wasnt because the skills itself was that slow, but the fact that you didn't understand the game as you do now, and had macro hours on top of that.

Skill gain has been adjusted. We'll have it implemented as soon as we can.

Skill gain needs to be increased again
I've been playing this game for 14 years now and I been on 20+ shards if not more, pretty tired of always macroing 3 weeks (On shards that lasts 3months cause that's the average of the last 6 shards I been playing) before being able to do dongeons normaly.
Either increase skill gain or give us a boost skill stone.

you will not get a boost stone and skill will probably* not be increased again. almost all skill gain has been doubled what it was on zhv and since the raise no one has had a problem. i started a bard yesterday and from zero go to 83 music... in one night. my brother, laz and myself have been hunting. we did all but the last level of covetous yesterday and laz and myself did a big portion of ice today until we died, lost our horses and returned to town. skill gain is not bad, keep your chars fed and you will be good. what is taking so long with better loot drops is i do not want it to be too much, same with skill gain. i had no problem with skill gain before it was all raised. i definitely do not have a problem with it now. i have also looked at your skills and they aren't bad, like i said stay stuffed also might want to die and res, that helps more than you might realize on pol *is a possibility but not a probability anatomy, animal lore, arms lore, lumber jacking, mace fighting, mining, music, parry, swords, tactics, tinkering, wrestling have been doubled. a bunch others have been raised. some are even more than doubled. and some were left alone, because as you can see are already high.
